To start online tutoring on TutStu, the basic requirement is to stay ‘online’.
BASIC Devices / Infrastructures to start Online Tutoring:-
1. Laptop or Desktop Computer Dual Core, Core2Duo, i3, i5, i7 Processor
2. Stable Internet Connection – minimum 512kbps internet speed
3. Minimum 1 GB RAM
4. Headphones with Microphones
5. Webcam (optional)
Note:- TutStu’s Website & User Portals are responsive. It can be accessed from any Device. Not just Laptops & Desktops, you can also use TutStu from Mobiles, Tablets, iPads etc. It can also be accessed via Amazon Kindle, however some features may be limited.
BASIC Softwares to start Online Tutoring:-
- 1. Windows or MacOS
- 2. Any Web-Browser – We recommend using Google Chrome, but Firefox, Safari, UC Browser, Opera etc is also fine.
- 3. Adobe Flash Player – If you are using an Old Version of any web browser.
- 4. Microsoft Office or Equivalent.
SPECIAL HARDWARE required to start Online Tutoring:-
For people using Computers/ Laptops:- You would need a special hardware called the Digital Pen Tablet or Digi-Pen.
It’s a device that you connect with the USB port of your Computer. It’s kind of a Digital Writing Pad. You move the Digital-Pen on the surface of the Digital Paper and the mouse cursor moves accordingly. It makes it easier to Write / Scribble / Draw on the Virtual Classroom.
For people using Touch-Screen Mobiles / Tablets:- You won’t need any special device. You will be able to touch the Screen and Draw / Write / Scribble.
This device is extremely necessary for Math & Science subjects.
